Hello people of the eBay forum. Please help me. I purchased a ring on the 7th December from America, it was shipped to my place in London, however i had not listed my flat number. Evri have been completely hopeless, I really have tried but it seems the postal address is incorrect so when I try to confirm my postcode for the delivery it fails and I can’t get through. Evri and eBay automated support are hopeless. I had to watch helplessly as my delivery was returned back to sender in America. Due to this being an international shipment it was added difficulties and contacting the seller proves little help as they have no control over the shipment or address.
I still want the ring. If a eBay professional could assist me please do. The ring was expensive and I’m having a total nightmare trying to figure this out, it’s all so kafkaesque.

eBay's money back guarantee only lasts for 30 days after the latest estimated delivery date. As you bought the ring on 7 December you must be close to the deadline to open a case. From day 31 eBay will not get involved in any way, whatever happens!!
I think you need to forget about still wanting the ring, and concentrate on not losing your money. You need to open an "item not received" case under the money back guarantee asp. For details, see: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
I say this because the tracking record does not state that delivery had been attempted, which eBay for some inexplicable reason is liable to treat as having been successful. The tracking only states that the item was undeliverable, which I thinks still renders it eligible for a case that it was not received. (Other mentors' views on this would be welcome.)
If for any reason you can't get a refund through eBay, your payment provider e.g. credit or debit card or PayPal may still be able to help.

This is up to you to arrange with seller, if they are prepared to post again, you will have to pay for the postage.
You seem to be blaming ebay and evri, for what was your mistake in the first placei.

You are right that there is nothing to say delivery refused (obviously) but the 'incorrect address' comment on the tracking is a concern.
All the OP can do is try claiming INR and see what happens.

Personally, I would contact the seller to find out if they have had the ring back and to explain why it was not delivered to you.
The tracking does seem to show the seller now has the ring back so there is nothing Ebay or carriers involved can do.
Apologise to the seller.
Explain you would still like the ring.
Negotiate with the seller to get it sent to you again,

I am surprised the seller hasn't contacted you now they have the ring back, to see if you want a refund. If I were that seller it would be the first thing I would do. At the moment he has both the money and the ring.
Follow the correct advice given by mentors above.
Edited to add: If you ordered the ring on 7th December you are approaching the 30 day cuttoff date for opening a case, or otherwise using the MBG so you should move fast.

I agree. With only days left to claim INR it would be a big risk to trust the seller to resolve it. We so often hear about sellers who break off all contact once eBay's MBG has expired.
I hope the OP paid in a way that provides fallback protection, ideally by credit card.
