Please can someone help

First of all I will start with saying I’m new on eBay and new on using it. I brought 3 security cameras on eBay and when they were delivered it turned out that the wrong ones had been sent out. I contacted the seller and he said just return them and he’ll sort it out, then I received a message from eBay saying I shouldn’t pay for the return of my items then the seller said he’s sent a label to me and gave me a returns address. I checked my account and my messages and didn’t get a returns label, by this time I’m so frustrated and fed up I didn’t no what’s going on and the seller wasn’t responding to my messages for help and all I got from eBay was a bot . I ended up sending them back to the seller to the address he had given me and just paid for it myself I then messaged him saying they had been posted and gave him the tracking information. Still he didn’t get back to me so I thought I’d see if eBay could help me but in my nightmare I had cancelled the return and couldn’t change it back. My item has been returned to the seller who won’t get in contact with me for some reason I don’t know why and I’m out of money. Please can a normal human person please help me cause I’m on the verge of a breakdown. Thank you

As you have canclled the return I'm afaid that's the end of it as far as eBay is concerned.

 

If you paid by PayPal you may still be able to file a dispute under their buyer protection policy. I trust you still have the tracking number to prove that you returned the items. You will have to hope that the address the seller gave you was the correct one.

 

Failing that, your payment provider e.g. credit or debit card may be able to help, with a longer time limit of probably 120 days. Again, you may need  to prove the item was correctly returned.

Next time, PLEASE read about eBay's money back guarantee. If you had followed the procedure correctly you would have been been assured of a refund.
