I have just had a returns request to me that I can’t seem to do anything about and there is little recourse to Ébay who don’t give the seller a chance to respond or right or reply?
The buyer has stated that my product that I have sent doesn’t match the description but it does!!
Also that there wasn’t any tap connectors included which is correct as I have listed these as extras if required!!
They also state the hose is ridiculous short but this is the length of the kit at between 200-250mm long.
Therefore there is no issue just a grumpy buyer but Ebay will refunded the money and I will loose out and my ridiculously thin margins and this sell will cost me money now!
What can I do☹️

If buyer opens item not as described case, issue returns label & refund in full on return.
If you don't this, ebay can force refund & buyer keeps item, so no point arguing.
The pictures clearly illustrates what is enclosed in the garden mixer set. The set now comes with the aura stop connects as standard. If you require the Tap Connectors please add £2.50 to the orders and advise us accordingly.
This is confusing, you say everything in picture is included, but then say Tap connectors are extra,
So buyer has the right to complain.

" If you require the Tap Connectors please add £2.50 to the orders and advise us accordingly."
exactly how do you expect a buyer to add more money at check-out?
"Therefore there is no issue just a grumpy buyer but Ebay will refunded the money and I will loose out and my ridiculously thin margins and this sell will cost me money now!"
Thin margins? a registered private seller cannot have any such problem.
As a business seller you have to accept returns for any reason.

You're a business seller (albeit not trading on the correct account), so must accept change of mind returns.
A private seller is one who is just selling off their own personal items such clothes from their wardrobe, bits from their loft/garage etc. They don't have multiples of brand new Hozelock items.
A Business seller is someone who buys or makes items to sell on. They need to be registered as a business to meet the requirements of UK law. eBay will be providing HMRC with your details anyway because you've sold more than 30 items, so it's vital to keep correct accounts for your tax return). You can obviously offset more expenses as a business seller, but can't offset any at all as a private one.
To correctly register as a business seller simply go to your Personal Information in your account and to the right of Account Type, which will be showing as 'Individual' you'll see an Edit option.

This doesn't affect your feedback profile or any current listings, it merely upgrades your account so that you're compliant with current consumer and eBay policy.
If you're also selling your own items, just open another eBay account (you can have more than one).
