Payments…?

Hi All,

First post here.

I have been paid for an item sold on on the 20th June but buyer took ages to collect. It’s now been collected and funds were meant to be released as per e bays message/statement on the item on the 8th July. Funds still havnt been released.

What can i do?

Have a look at the published guidance on payment holds and see if any apply to you.  If not, ask ebay what's going on.

As a new seller have you ever received funds successfully?  There might be an issue with your account set up as well.

Im not a new seller as been selling since 2005 and he’d no problems before. E bay havnt released the funds but its been paid. 

How do i ask e bay?

You have no recent feedback for sales and ebay may consider you to be a new or infrequent seller, and money held for longer than the usual 14 days.

Did buyer provide the codec supplied at time of collection?

Hi John,

Buyer was very bad tbh, she came and removed the water tank without me knowing and i was convinced she wouldnt clear the funds.

E bay said the funds would be cleared on the 8th of July but they arnt. 

I have sold a few bits this year but no feedback so yeah e bay may class me as a new seller.

I dont know about the codec but buyer paid on the 28th July. 

14 days???? Why is that when they have said the money will be cleared on the 8th July.
