Payments on hold

Hi everyone
I sold something on ebay was a large item and the  buyer was local to me so he came and pick up the item .
So the buyer now has the item but i still don't have the money .
Ebay deposited the 0.01 into my account but still says payments on hold we are reviewing your account .
I understand ebay was to put some security but this not fair specially when the item was already picked up.
I asked for the call and they keep saying the same account on review .
Don't think i will sell on ebay anymore.
His anyone have any solution?

You need to have your bank account verified before eBay can release the payment this usually takes 2-5 working days.

Your buyer should have given you the collection code they received from eBay when they paid, for you to scan/enter into system to confirm collection,this releases your payment to your eBay balance which you transfer to your verified bank account.

If you didn't get the code ask the buyer for it they should have it on the email or in their eBay messages.

Finally as you are a new seller with a high value sale eBay may hold your payment for 14-30 days.

All steps have been completed and EBay also deposited and took 1p from my account so it’s been verified yet they are still keeping the payment on hold. I don’t think there are any legal grounds now that they have verified my account to keep holding the payment ?

You're a new seller listing a very expensive item, so eBay may hold your funds up to 30 days. This is legal.

Did you add the collection code to the order?
