Payment pending

Payment was attempted to be taken out of an account that had no funds. Now the item I put on offer on that was accepted by the seller just says pending. How can I make the payment? Do I have to wait for the pending message to dissappear or can somebody assist me?

Recheck/update your account settings including the Managed Payments setup to have valid UK based Banking details on file to make and receive payments  (Not online Internet Banking) --- more  links/information here >
