Payment after Collection

Hi All

Is it just me or do ebay withhold payments for a considerable length of time. I appreciate that they are a business and gain interest on funds pending but i keep getting differing answers from the supposed customer support team.

The collection for a Peloton bike was last week, one advisor said i will receive the funds by 4th March and a second advisor said it is 30 days away because of the cost and to allow the buyer to return if unhappy.

Of course, it is also impossible to get hold of them in a timely manner.

All seems excessive to me.

Buyer should have have given you collection code to input,this releases money.

If no code, you have to wait 14 days.

That is awful advice cs have given you and completely wrong.

if item has not been collected yet make sure your buyer brings a copy of the collection code from an email eBay would have sent shortly after paying. Enter this where it says arrange collection (clicking on it will open a new box to enter the code) That will release funds. However as you have been advised correctly by @tobiasd4  14 days is what it will be.
