Paying postage twice it seems?

Hi 

I have an niggling issue and was wondering if anyone was having the same

When a customer buys an item,let's say £10 plus 2.94 postage which comes to £12.94 total 

When I purchase a shipping label the £2.94 it comes out of my total ebay available balance 

But when the order is completed the postage cost £2.94 is also taken from the order summary and I only get the £10!!!!!!

In my head it seems I am paying twice for one postage?????

I hope  someone can help 🙏

With Simple Delivery your buyer is charged for the cost of postage at checkout and the amount is then paid to eBay for the label.  If you don't use the prepaid label but buy your own that would be at your own extra cost but you won't be able to do that once Simple Delivery becomes mandatory on the 15th.
