Partial refund/ Ebay customer support

I have received 1/3 refund of total cost for an item I purchased and didn't receive. After initial contact, the seller ignored further correspondences. I completed a request form for a refund, not the easiest to understand.

When I 'eventually' found the option of requesting a call back from Ebay customer service, a very pleasant agent told me everything I wanted to hear from a reassurance perspective and I waited for the remainder of the refund due. Nothing! Not even a message from Ebay.

I managed to get a 2nd call in relation to the above and again, same process, and an indication that the case would be escalated and ebay would be in touch, another 10 days has gone and nothing! Again!

I am unable to get through to an agent for a third time.

It's frustrating, annoying and alarming that the seller is allowed to get away with this because they have issued a partial refund, for goods NOT received, even though proof was sent to the seller.

Just wondering if anyone else has the same experience, or any advice on how to progress further to get my money back.

I don't really understand what has happened here.

One day after the latest estimated delivery date, you can open a case through Ebay for a 'not received' item.

This is just tick boxes, but you state ' I completed a request form for a refund, not the easiest to understand.'

Who did you request a refund from?

Did you open an Ebay case within 30 days of expected delivery?

Were you refunded through Ebay?

When you open an Ebay case, the seller has a few days to refund and, unless they can prove delivery, has to refund you in full.
