Hello,
I've bought an item on the 18th of December and it was dropped of at an Evri parcelshop on the 19th at 14:25. Since then it has not moved.
I realise that it is the Chirstmas busy period and that Evri's cutoff for Christmas day delivery is at 11:00 on the 19th, so I have been expecting delays. However, I would have expected it to have begun moving at least after Christmas. I am not sure if they collect from the parcelshops everyday; it's possible that none of the parcels have been collected from that parcelshop. With Evri's reputation I have become concerned that it is lost.
I have attempted to contact the seller to see if they can get in contact Evri or the parcelshop; they have not responded. From tomorrow it passes the esitmated delivery date so I can open a case for a refund. I know that everybody's first reaction is to jump straight for the refund. Dispite that, given the value of the item and the price I paid for it I would really rather have the item. I have tried to message Evri but there is no one to talk to or email to get a human response.
I don't see how they could have lost it at the first step of the delivery. So, assuming that someone hasn't stolen it, I feel my best course of action is to wait another week or two to see if it gets moving before asking eBay for a refund. It was a simple delivery so does eBay have access to anymore infomation on the tracking? I'm hoping somebody else has a better idea of how to proceed.
