I presume this happens all the time. But basically I ordered a parcel around Xmas and the delivery driver took a photo of the outside door of my building with maybe a corner of the parcel. He marked as delivered and I never got the package. He clearly chucked it outside or just took it tbh. Long story short I contacted the seller and raised a case which I lost because the delivery GPS showed he was outside my building, but never inside. I worked with the seller to contact royal mail but after royal mail basically said 'no we have proof' (even though the proof is inconclusive since the delivery driver was outside the building and had no proof of being inside AND they said they got a signature which is a lie as it was not a 'signed for' delivery). The seller is now ghosting me and Ebay does not have a customer service team to call anymore. Does anyone know if there is anything else that can be done as royal mail wont speak to me as I am not the person who paid for delivery. I would have thought ebay might be able to do something since I presume the buyer used their online service to buy the delivery.
It must be so easy to steal parcels with this system
