Panasonic UK website TV purchase

Purchased a reconditioned TV, went to pay popped it in basket went to apply discount code and as was  about to do so  I then noticed the sale had gone through not allowing me to receive discount. Perhaps it was due to using a Smartphone. Anyhow I tried contacting Panasonic by phone and they said the fault was not theirs as it was an eBay code and to contact ebay to report this.

I therefore tried but they said it wasn't their problem and to contact you and that you maybe able to discount even though it's being sent. I attempted to send it back changed my mind as that would be a hassle. 

Please can you add a discount as it brought it down to an affordable price

eBay Customer Service asked you to contact US ??  That is one of the best sorry worst answers CS has meted out.

We are mere members like yourself,  we do not work for eBay but are volunteers,  eBay members who are here to help others with selling and buying issues, but we have no access to anyone's account, just like you could not access mt account.

I'm afraid if the discount code, for whatever reason, was not added before final payment,  then it cannot be added now.
