Paid on ebay but seller now wants cash

No suggestion in the sale listing that it was cash on collection. I paid for the item and now he is asking that I "unsend" the money. I could only see an option to cancel the order.

I don't want to pay by cash

Any help appreciated

Unless its a vehicle eBay don't allow cash payments.

Tell them this and to honour the transaction.

If you paid the seller using a payment option on the sellers listing, then the seller should honour the transaction and you can report not received if he fails to comply

Paid on ebay but seller now wants cash

If this is Not a vehicle,  the rules have recently changed for all other items listed as collection, and that is, No cash is allowed.

All payments have to be made through eBay checkout,  and then the buyer receives a 6 digit QR code to bring to the seller for them to scan, as this proves collection.

As said,  this does not apply to vehicles.

As advised, cash on collection is no longer an option that Ebay allow.

The change happened in October.

Send the seller this link so they can check themselves.

Buyers who paid cash on collection lost their right to return items using the Ebay Money Back Guarantee so some sellers are still suggesting it as an option.
