PENDING PAYMENT FAIL - ITEM DELIVERED, POS FEEDBACK RECD but unconfirmed delivery and no payment ?!!

FAO - EBAY Management teams - You dont need to fix somethin'that isnt broken.

Now, dont get me started on posting an item to someone before I've even been paid any money, that's just *bleep* about face to most of us, but I see why and what you are doing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I completely appreciate why this new PENDING PAYMENT dynamic retains monies within EBAY and keeps transactions trickling before people transfer their payments to their bank accounts....

But why do sellers have to get in touch with EBAY AFTER A DELIVERY HAS BEEN MADE [with no sign on either seller or buyers end], and after the buyer has left positive feedback for the transaction ?

And why is the TRACKING option mandatory ? It is confusing when EBAY states one thing, but means another.

I understand that any simple reference [not just GB track & trace references] can be added to some pages [Not all] but EXPLAIN this to people. This information is not forthcoming.

If you leave customers guessing about getting paid, and having to chase payment each time because the company behaves like a dumpster fire, annoying, maybe they will start thinking you used to be a good platform but now you are a cr4p platform that cannot navigate and present new policies and options professionally. Those very same tired customers might stop using you.

EBAY !!! GET ISSUES IRONED OUT IN YOUR OWN TIME, and before customers have to waste their time to get paid.

You could write a leter to Ebay management or add your comments to one of the posts in the discussion forums.

There is no ' chasing of payment', the rules not liked by  many true, are if you have tracking showing delivery payout is released 2 days after that delivery date.  No tracking ?  Then, payouts are held for 14 days.

No chasing,  just waiting.
