Payment on hold even although buyer has received and satisfied with purchase Item 196993079249

I sold, received confirmation of payment and shipped an item via Evri . The tracking system from Evri states "We're sorry, your parcel has been delayed. We're working to get it on its way on the next working day and We'll let you know once it's out for delivery"   This has been the same message for 5 days.

I contacted the buyer who states that it has been received about 5 days ago despite the status message by the carrier. H also states he is satisfied with the purchase.

My Ebay status for this item states  "On Hold Pending Delivery" 

I have gone round and round in circles on the Ebay website to explain this to no avail .... I have also been able to raise a ticket via Evri.  I dispatched the item 12/02/25 and it was received 15/02/25 (according to the buyer)

What more can I do?

Without tracking updating the money will be released after 14 days.

Thanks for the reply peaseblossom. In this instance there was tracking through the Ebay system recommended courier. Is there a way I can communicate this through Ebay?

The only tracking status ebay will accept is one of delivery.  Just posting with tracking isn't enough.

Further to my last post. If, as the last post by mentor states "tracking
is not enough" , what should I, the seller (who, as far as I can see,
followed the prompts correctly after being informed that the buyer had
paid) actually do to ensure that I can be paid 2 days after receipt of
goods?
What have I done wrong? Should there not be a box that the receiver can
tick to say "I have received the goods"?
My status still says "Pending ... awaiting delivery" , when this is
clearly not the case. The buyer sent me a message through the Ebay
system informed me that he has received the item and is more than
satisfied.

That is a solution but not one that I wanted to accept. What I actually wanted was to explain my situation which was not solved by any of the help links. By trawling the forum posts I found a link which offered a call-back from the Ebay helpdesk. I clicked the link and got a call within 4 minutes. The agent was extremely helpful, could see that my buyer had sent me a message to say that the buyer had received the goods.

The agent then released the funds immediately. Here is the link
