Hello. EBay have charged my customer £339 for postage of a small parcel ( 800 grams ) from London to Rhode Island USA. Through the global shipping programme. How do I contest this to get a fair deal for the buyer
thanks

Has your buyer paid yet?

Hello
I assume so as eBay tells me it’s time to post. They’ve definitely paid for the item. I guess the post cost is in the same invoice to them. I don’t know

£339 for postage must surely be a mistake, what's the listing number?
If the item sold for over $800 there'll be a tariff now.

Sounds crazy. I charged £5

eBay hasn't charged your buyer "£339 for postage". The GSP charge also includes customs duty and fees payable on importation into the US.
It's impossible to give you any meaningful advice without knowing what type of item it is, and the sale price.
In any case, it's not your fee to contest with eBay. GSP is payable by the buyer direct to eBay. It's up to your buyer to take up any concerns with eBay.
