Order

Hi, I ordered a few boxes of joblots on the 3rd of March the seller advised they posted them on the 4th however I’ve had to tracking updates since that at all. I called royal mail today and they said they haven’t received anything yet. The seller has also gone ahead and deleted all the other items they were selling so I’m getting worries. Do I wait it out or does it seem dodgey and I should cancel and ask for a refund ?

Check the last estimated delivery date on the listing and if/when that has passed select "Report an item you didn't receive" on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/get-help-item-hasnt-arr...
and escalate it 3 complete working days later to get a full refund.

Would that cancel the order say if it is on the way and there actually is an issue with the system?

No,  it would not cancel the order if it is on its way.

Sometimes tracking does not update ,  sometimes it's not used at all.

What was the item's last estimated date for delivery, as 5 days after seller says items were posted,  doesn't seem an over long waiting time.

Estimated date for delivery was between the 5th & 6th which is only 3 days difference but I called royal mail today and they said that the seller has generated the label but hasn’t actually posted the item. I double checked with the seller who said they would send the receipt yesterday but I didn’t receive it so asked again today and they said they couldn’t find it 😕 just worried I’m not going to receive it but I also want to give it a fair chance to arrive

When a Simple Delivery label is triggered it seems to mark the item as dispatched immediately.

'Posting' on the 4th and estimated dates for delivery are the  5th and 6th ??  Have you paid for next day delivery ?

Wait for tomorrow's post if it doesn't arrive open that case for item not received.  Do not close the case on any excuse or promise the seller may make, and escalate on day 4, if the item does not arrive, or for no refund,  eBay step in and force the refund.

If these were separate purchases,  then open a case for each item purchased.

Tracking and Royal Mail and eBay have never been in sync!

As long as you do not exceed 30 days past that last estimated date for delivery you'll be in time to open a case(s) for a refund if need be,  you can wait a few days,  hopefully they'll be delivered.
