I am looking at my Order Details page for an item I have sold. The parcel has been posted to my buyer and is showing as dispatched on my Order Details. What I would like to know is, because the sale has gone through, for my records should the buyer’s postal address be showing on my Order Details page? I do not know if I imagined it, but I think the address was there earlier. Now I can only see the buyer’s name and because of this it has created a problem.
The issue I have is that I like to use Royal Mail Tracked 48. Once a parcel is delivered my Ebay page shows it has been ‘delivered’. To be thorough I also check Royal Mail’s own tracking site. On the RM site you can ‘verify’ delivery but in order to do this you have to insert the delivery postcode into a box. Once you have done this the RM page changes and shows me a photograph of the parcel and front door of the delivery address. I use this service in case should a buyer ever claim the parcel has not been delivered, I have proof by means of the photo.
As I do not have a printer, I rely on the Post Office to stick the label on the parcel. Once they do this the parcel is out of my hands.

Now that all sellers have to use ebay's Simple Delivery postage the buyer's address is not shown until you download their label. If you want to use a different service you still have to download the SD label to get the address and to change the tracking number. The latter is not always possible so you may not have proof of deilvery.
If you don't use the original label you can cancel it here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.
