Open Cases

Hi all. Although I have been selling a while i wonder if I have missed something. So I had until the 2nd of July to post, which i did with a three day delivery window. I get the usual " where are my shoes i needed them tomorrow last minute madam screaming at me telling me ebay said they'd be delivered by the 3rd. Today's the 4th and she is allowed to open an" item not received"? How can this be? Her shoes are still en routeas within the frame so what's this all about? Thanks guys

Buyers are able to open a "not received" case after the estimated delivery date has passed.    If your last dispatch date was the 2nd then the 4th would be the likely delivery date, although it is cutting it fine.   But she won't be able to escalate it for another 3 complete working days by which time they will have arrived and the case will close.
