Who said it was fake?.

If it went to for authentication

If the inspector cannot determine that the product is authentic, or if the product is not as described in the listing, the item won't be sent on to the buyer and they will receive their money back. Where an item is unable to be authenticated, you'll cooperate in removing it from marketplace circulation.

Just in case you need to contact ebay.

www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Weekdays lines open between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Weekends they open between 9 a.m. aand 6 p.m.

If you have received an item not as described,  so you are guaranteed a full refund under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  if you claim within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery.

You then go right of the item in your Purchase History,  and from More Actions select Return this item,  selecting the reason...  Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.

The seller has 3 days to accept the case,  if they don't ,  you need to  escalate on day 4,  or within 30 days,  and eBay will step in and force the refund.

If the seller wants the item back first,  they need to pay for a fully tracked return postage.  On receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you.  Again,  if they don't,  you escalate the case.

Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give,  and do not forget to escalate.

If eBay's authentication service really judged a fake to be authentic this would be a serious matter.

But without knowing when you bought this and who the "someone" is who says it's fake it's hard to give any meaningful advice.

The first thing you could do, if you have concerns, is to get the watch looked at by an authorised Omega seller.

You can actually send your watch to Omega for a service - I don't suppose that would be cheap but it would either put your mind at rest or confirm your suspicions.

I don't know who Ebay use to authenticate watches.

As I suggested, having an independent Omega specialist look at it would be my next move and what I would recommend a friend to do if they were unsure.
