10 months and buyer wants a return!

Hi there, buyer has requested return after 10 months. Is there any rules for this?  It seems way to long. They are questioning authenticity of item which is not true, it is genuine.  The item is nearly 20 years old so doubt i have receipt still.  As it was sent overseas the return postage will be v costly.

There's nothing they can do as far as ebay is concerned.    Their deadline for claims is only 30 days from date of delivery.   They may be able to open a return case but it can't be escalated and would expire eventually.
