Notification of item recall but the seller is not on my purchases anymore

eBay are obliged to send out those notices,  but if a buyer is past the 30 day timeframe to claim from eBay,  nothing the seller or eBay can do to affect a refund now.

All you can do is to write to the manufacturer, and ask if there are any steps you should follow now,  as you own one of their recalled products.

I've had this myself, with a set of Christmas lights. As I was out of time for the MBG we decided to cut our losses and binned the lights. Ok if it's something inexpensive but different if it's something expensive. You could try contacting the manufacturer.
