Not receiving buyers offer

Buyer saying they have submitted an offer but I’ve not received it, they say they have an email notification stating offer has been sent. Anyone had this issue before?

(I got my husband to do a dummy offer which I received straight away).

Is this just from one buyer?  Perhaps their offer is below the lowest ' offer accepted' you have selected?

Just to add,  an offer has to exceed the minimum price entered rather than match it for eBay to notify you of an offer.

Do not add a ' minimum offer £** is accepted' ,  and eBay will then message you of all offers made,  no matter how low for you to accept, counter or decline.
