My 16 year old Son Opened an ebay account. He sold a computer part for £160 and the Money was sent to his account. Ebay closed his account and he cannot get access to the cash. He is very upset. Is there a way that I or my Son can get the Money out of the Account? It seems very unfair of ebay

You have to be 18 to open ebay account. 

Others have said they have wait until they are 18 before ebay release money,

But we haven't seen any proof of this.

As your son supplied false information to eBay to open their account, how is eBay's actions unfair.

Have you contacted eBay to speak about matters?

Yes but no reply. My Point is why did ebay let him open an account, sell the item then not pay his money back to him. The item sold for £160 and he wants that money back

He lied about his age to open account. 

Has he contacted ebay CS to discuss issue.

Because they assumed that he wouldn't provide false information when applying for an account?
