New Simplified Postage System Help

Hello, Ebay has rolled out this new postage system and I am having issues with it. I like to post with EVRi as they have much better tracking than Royal Mail. They take a photo of every delivery while Royal Mail often dont mark items as delivered. Also with EVRi I can drop it off at the Parcel Shop 7 days a week till 10pm at night. The Post office is very inconvinent for me as it shuts at 5:30pm through the week and is not open at the weekends. Anyway I listed some items yesterday to find this new system has been implemented. I went into the options and unchecked Royal Mail as an option and left only EVRi as an option. Two items have sold today and when I go to purchase the postage label to send them, it tells me Royal Mail is the only option available. What can I do to prevent this in future? It is very annoying and instead of simplifying things has made things much more hasstle.

eBay say:

There may be cases where we’re unable to honour your carrier selection, for example because of the weight of your item.   If this happens, we may provide a label for a carrier you've excluded.

If that doesn't apply to your item it could just be a glitch.   Goodness knows there's enough of those at the moment.   You could try contacting Customer Service  about it and see what they say.   You can use callback on here:

Thank you for your answer, I found I can opt out of Simple Delivery and just use the old system so I am doing that for now. The items are fine to be posted with either carrier so it must be some glitch.

That's good but you'll only be able to opt out of SD until the 15th April, apart from items less than £10/100g.    Let's hope they sort themselves out by then.
