I would like to share my experience and express how happy and grateful I am with the support I received from eBay regarding a recent negative feedback case.
I have been selling on eBay for many years, always acting honestly and professionally. Recently, I received a negative review from a buyer that I strongly believe was unfair. The buyer came in person to collect the item, carefully inspected it, took it out of the box, and confirmed that it was in perfect condition with no scratches or issues.
However, after confirming everything was fine, the buyer started asking for additional discounts. I explained that the price was already fair. At one point, I even offered that if they were not satisfied, they were free to leave the item. Despite this, the buyer insisted on taking it.
Afterwards, the buyer threatened me, saying that if I did not give an extra £20 discount, they would leave negative feedback — which they eventually did. This felt like clear pressure and misuse of the feedback system.
For this reason, I truly appreciate that eBay reviewed the situation and removed the negative feedback. This action not only corrected an unfair situation but also protects sellers like me who have built a strong reputation over many years.
That said, I believe eBay could continue improving its policies to better protect sellers from situations like this, where buyers attempt to use feedback as leverage to force additional discounts after confirming they are satisfied with the item.
Thank you again to eBay for the support and for taking fair action in this case.

I am sorry to burst your bubble, but the negative feedback is still there.

As noted, the feedback is still there this morning, but it may be that after review, it's not instantly removed, some things just don't work fast with eBay.
However, if it's still there in a few days time contact CS best on a weekday at 8 a.m. as there's more chance of Dublin answering. Explain the feedback was promised to be removed, and draw attention to the message you received from your buyer threatening to leave negative feedback if a discount of £20 was not made.

Good luck lets hope it disappears soon.
