I’m looking for some guidance and support regarding my eBay selling account.
Recently, my account was permanently restricted, and eBay informed me that the decision is final and unappealable. The issues began when several USA buyers opened “Item Not Received” cases.
Unfortunately, I had no way to deliver these orders because Sri Lanka currently has no DDP service, and USA customs rejected some parcels. At the same time, a cyclone caused power and internet outages, which delayed my responses.
Even though these issues were outside my control, I still:
Refunded all affected buyers in full
Closed all cases properly
Provided proof and photos in my appeal
Continued shipping to all other countries with positive feedback from buyers
Some buyers even updated their feedback to positive after understanding the situation.
I requested a supervisor review, but support said the restriction is final. I feel my account was restricted due to temporary external issues, not poor seller behavior.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there any way to request a higher-level review or get assistance from eBay senior support?
Any advice from experienced sellers would be greatly appreciated.
