My payment for an item had postage taken out when the buyer has paid for postage

I have has postage taken out of my payment automatically by ebay, even though the buyer has paid the postage, contacted ebay, but they won't refund

They deduct their fees and pay the rest into your bank,

You use this payment to buy postage through ebay or direct from carrier.

Often ebay fees are similar to postage cost.

Buyer pays £5.00 plus postage £2.94, total £7.94.

From that ebay deduct their fee which would be around £1.30, so you receive about £6.64.  From that you then have to pay the postage.

They won't refund because there hasn't been an error.
