I had the same with an item of mine received a few days ago ,but luckily no damage to the item, but packaging was very poor.
Is your item damaged? If so, then open a return case, citing... damaged in transit.
If this was a Simple Delivery transaction you will be fully refunded without having to send the item back. If not, you will still receive a full refund, but if the seller wants their item back first, they need to pay for that fully tracked return postage.
