My listing cancelled due to "embargo goods policy"

E:Bay have cancelled some items I'm selling under this policy. The bank notes are Repulique Syrienne from WW2 (dated 1944) so are British notes issued when fighting Germany, so have nothing to do with current issues.  Have tried contacting them via "auto chat/message" and that is useless.

Once an item is removed and especially under the ' embargo goods policy'  , there is no way to relist them they will be removed again and you could face selling restrictions.

You say you've tried to contact CS,   why was that useless?  Did they confirm you cannot relist these items?  You will have to find another platform to sell these notes.

Thanks for the reply.

I typed in my question and the replies that came back (7 attempts) didn't
answer the question and wanted to direct me to different parts of the site
that had nothing to do with my query.

My main issue is that the note is over 80 yrs old and was made during WWII
(when Britain were fighting the Germans for Syria's freedom and even dated
1944).

The one tip if you do wish to speak to Customer Services is to only contact CS very first thing on a weekday morning when the lines for open at 8 a.m. for ' liv e agents'  , at that time,  there's more chance of Dublin answering.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
