I've been selling on and off on eBay for a few years and started back up about a year ago (private seller, selling my own items for a bit of extra cash).
I sold a higher value item which the buyer opened (my first) return request on Monday. I sent my own return label from Royal Mail, as the eBay generated label did not offer the correct compensation needed to cover the item value. I sent it to the buyer through the eBay returns portal/case.
The buyer has not sent the item back yet but the label expires tomorrow. The return case is open until 11th April, in which case I'd have to purchase another label (and possibly a third label) if they are going to leave it last minute to send the item back.
I assumed with the speed they raised the return case they were keen for a refund. I'm starting to wonder if they expect me to get fed up of waiting and issue a full refund to close the case.
Just wondering your thoughts and how I'd go about sending a new label to the buyer if they did attempt to return after the first label has expired. Thank you.
