My account was hacked. I was able to change my password, but I can't change the country, as the field for it is inactive. Any idea about what I can do? Thanks.

For some reason I cannot see the page which tells me your country of registration.
Usually you need to contact eBay Customer Services for this.
If you are in the UK, this is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
I do recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open, as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Thanks for answering. I'm located in Greece and no, my problem hasn't been resolved yet. For a very long time I couldn't even log in, my email address wasn't accepted. That happened after I was contacted by an agent in the Philippines who promised ebay would solve the problem for me. I managed to find a way to write to ebay again. I was asked to send them some documentation to prove my identity and they eventually allowed me to log in again. Unfortunately, the original problem is still there, i.e. I can't change the hacker's country or ID number. I was told to have another agent call.me. I tried, but at that time it wasn't possible, so I'll do it as soon as I have some spare time...

I don’t know if the ability to change a country of registration (i your case from the US to Greece) is an option for CS anymore. They haven't done it for years now.
You might need to close this account and open a correctly registered one.

Who's CS? I'll give it another shot with an e-bay agent and if not I'll just close the account. I have pending items to receive though...
