Multiple listing Postage Issue

I put a listing up to sell an item which weighs less than 100g when packed. The postage cost was £1.55.

The listing was for 5 items.

A buyer selected 4 items. eBay only charged the postage for 1.

I have not postage discounts set up. I've had a previous purchase of 2 items and recieved postage twice. Noting as the weight did not go over 100g I refunded the buyer's postage by £1.55.

How can a buyer get to pay for posting just 1 item when they have purchased 4? The weight of 4 items will go over 100g.

On a side note I am beyond extremely frustrated with eBay as I can not get hold of a human agent to speak to. I wanted to sell a few items to support my hobby. I have no idea why eBay has chosen not to speak to me in person. However, I do find it dissmissive and regretably, it has to be said, quite frankly it's very rude. My time is very valuable. eBay's dissmissal of my time is contemptable.

However, it's not a mountain I am equipped to climb.

Thank you for listening

Kind regards

If you did not fill in “each additional item “ then postage would not change.
