Money Taken From Account - But No Purchase Records

I ordered a part for my shower about a week ago and have just logged in to my account to check on the delivery status as it has not arrived. There is absolutely no record of it on my account as a purchase. I was sure I completed the order and so I checked my bank account, and sure enough, eBay took a payment from me on the 8th Feb.  I have searched my emails and cannot find a confirmation order either.  I've tried to contact eBay but as I cannot link it to a recent order, I'm just going round in circles. Any advice?

It's possible the seller's account has been suspended by ebay.   When that happens they remove the item too so you'd need to contact your payment provider and try to get a refund from them.

Could you perhaps have bought as a guest,  or through another account inadvertently set up when you logged in via Google or Facebook?

@papso22  could be right and you made a ' Guest Purchase'.  Here,  there is no record in your eBay account as it wasn't used for the purchase.
