Moeny Back Guarantee

I have been trying for weeks to invoke this right after a courier did not deliver my parcel, despite claiming they did.  I have jumped through all the hoops and obstacles Ebay requested me to  - twice!  In my most recent attempt at getting help directly from eBay on Friday  27th August 24, I  was advised in writing to contact Amazon to assist me with this - I have no idea why as it is beyond clear that Herme' / Evri was the courier involved.

I cannot get any information that makes any sense and I have not been successful in invoking the money back guarantee process.  Please could anyone assist

Firstly ,  can I  say,  if eBay Customer Services told you to contact Amazon, because your item hasn't been delivered,  words just fail me !

If you have been trying for weeks you may well have timed yourself out for climing from eBay's 30 day MBG  Money Back Guarantee.

If you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery then proceed this way:

Go right of the item purchased,  and from More Actions select....  I Have Not Received My Item.

If you are not fully refunded within 3 days,  you must escalate the case on day 4 or within 30 days from opening the case,  and eBay will step in and force the refund.

Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give,  and do not forget to escalate.

If the seller has tracking to show delivery the case will close in their favour.

If you are too late to claim with eBay,  turn to your payment provider for help with your refund now.

HI
Thanks for your response. here's a high level chronology of events:
- I did receive my items so contacted seller
- seller produced evidence from the courier in the form of a picture of a
number of parcels left outside my building. From this picture / "evidence"
it was not at all possible to see whom the parcels were addressed to -no
labels were visible
- no evidence of any delivery directly to me or to my front door - per my
delivery details - has ever been produced
- I have never provided any permission for any item to be delivered to me
to be left in an unsafe place
- I bought a number of items from the same seller but paid for individual
shipping
- The seller bulk packaged my items and shipped a single parcel
- I did not get any postage refund for the combined shipping
- I did not receive any of the items purchased as the combined shipping
parcel was never delivered to my front door / the address recorded as my
delivery address
- I escalated to eBay
- eBay ruled in the sellers favour, stating the seller had "proven" delivery
- I immediately appealed and provided all the facts above
- After many frustrating hours on EBay chat, I was advised to contact the
courier and get them to confirm in writing that they did not deliver the
parcel
- I did as I was requested - the courier ignored me
- I went back to eBay and again, after many frustrating hours on EBay chat,
I was again advised to contact the courier and get them to confirm in
writing that they did not deliver the parcel - despite me confirming over
and over that I had already done this. I was advised in no uncertain terms
that if I did not do this, and if the courier did not confirm that they did
not deliver the parcel, I would forfeit my ability to invoke my money
back.
- I uploaded my proof of further attempts to contact the courier to the URL
I had been provide in writing by eBay - This communication was not
responded to for 2 weeks. Finally, last Friday I received acknowledgement
that eBay had received my upload and they would get back to me on this
- In the meantime, I contacted the help center again and was escalated to
Sharon, who telephonically confirmed that Evri were notorious for not
responding to enquiries such as the one I had made and advised me that she
would provide me the details of a 3rd party who would succeed in getting
the required information.
- The result of that conversation was the email I received advising me to
contact Amazon

I am at my wits end. The amount of stress, mental anguish and trauma this
experience has cost me is beyond a joke. In case you were wondering, the
value of the items I purchased and did not receive exceeds £100. Weeks
later, I have made no progress at all.

PS: I have proof and evidence in writing of all the statements I have made
above and can prove beyond the shadow of a doubt, everything above.

Seems seller had tracking to show delivery and you may well advise couriers Not to leave in unsafe places,  but they still will and deem a place to be ' safe' and leave it there.  We hear many a time here items placed in dustbins, then you can imagine what happens.

For your case now,  I would turn to your payment provider see if they can help with your refund now.
