Missing address

I had a offer accepted by a seller and ebay automatically charged me. The seller has now cancelled the order after a week because they didn't have my address. Is there something wrong with my account? I have never experienced this before.

Many items have now had Ebay Simple Delivery added as the only postage option.

When you buy an item with Simple Delivery, the seller does not  directly get your address.

They are sent a label or QR code to print or use and this has your address.

If the item you bought was listed with Simple Delivery, and the seller doesn't understand the system, it is possible (or even likely) that this is what has happened.

Thank you for message. It was FREE postage. I sent the seller my address
twice in ebay messages, but she still cancelled order because she said ebay
advised her to and because of security. She has sold many items, I think
she would of known where to look. She said she was happy for me to try buy
again, but the price as now jumped up £13. How can I be assured she'd even
get my address if she didn't get it the 1st time. I thank you for your help
and time.

Sellers can only use the address Ebay give them - which is the address used when you check out.

Free postage listings can still use Simple Delivery.

However, I think you just need to find a better seller.

Just checked the postal details and it was royal mail. She is definitely an
experienced seller whom as sold a lot. I feel like I've been used somewhat
as a bridging loan, especially with the big price increase. I will
definitely look for a better seller, you can't let one bad experience put
you off, I love shopping on ebay. Thank you once again for all your help.
