I am trying to send a message to someone who is interested in buying a product. When I press send, I get a red exclamation mark showing and the message does not get sent. I have tried to send the message again and keep getting the same exclamation mark. Any ideas?

Depending on what you are trying to say, it might appear that you are trying to set up an off-Ebay deal which is not allowed.

Hard to say without seeing exactly what you wrote.

Are you responding to a question from a potential buyer?

The buyer was asking for my address to collect the item that they have agreed to buy.

You can't give them your address until they have paid.

Cash on collection is no longer an option (unless it's for a car) so your buyer has got to pay through Ebay checkout, then you can send your address.
