Message from eBay…..

I was asking a seller a question about an item’s suitability for my particular car which is year specific and requires either a VIN number or registration number to verify.  
eBay sent a message saying I’d included personal or payment info in my message….which I hadn’t.   Unless someone has a vehicle registration checker my info was in no way personal or financial.  
I assume an algorithm is at work here?

Yes, eBay is a bit trigger happy with this sort of thing.  Maybe reword your question.
