Listing price has added more than the Buyer Protection Fee

P&P (£2.70) is Free

Listing Price is £18.08

Am I missing something?

Hi, this hasn't happened with any of my other auctions, which all list a the Set Price + Buyer Protecton Fee. For example, my other auction for another PS1 game also set at £14 with Free P&P lists at £15.28 (the Total Item Price).

Why are you not posting with the account with the issue?  It helps if you do.

If VAT is being randomly added you need to take that up with ebay directly.

I've not sold on eBay for years so I'm just becoming familiar with the new fee schemes, which are confusing (certainly compared to how they used to be). I thought maybe I missed some other clause that would account for that added amount (£2.80).

I just tried Contact eBay but it's taken me to a chatbot that isn't answering my question (its just giving me articles than don't address the problem). Any suggestions on how to best take it up with them?

Thanks very much mate (I've bookmarked that link).

They said it's a system glitch that's added the free P&P + VAT to the total price amount; and since it can't be removed, to end the listing and relist the item, which has solved the problem.
