Have sent two items through the Post Office same as I have been doing for the last 5 years, but Ebay will not let me put them on as sent,

Because you are now using Ebay's Simple Delivery, as soon as you access the label, the tracking is added and the item is marked as sent.

Did you use the labels supplied by Ebay?
