Large Item Sold

I have sold a large item and the buyer has said they have paid, and that the removal firm they are using will arrive with a 6 digit code. I just wanted others experience of this, is it legitimate through eBay now. Its been a while since I have sold anything and am always a bit on guard with things.

Check the item in your 'orders'.

You will be able to see that the buyer has paid and it should say your funds are pending.

Don't hand it over without the collection code.

Do keep any messages from the buyer confirming they are using a third party for collection in case they open a return for any reason.
