LOCKED INFINIX NOTE 40 PHONE

Hello there,

Please refer to the above.

i bought a phone recently and when i tried to set it up a message popped up saying that "Your Device Is Locked". i tried to contact the seller who insisted that it was unlocked. After i sent him an image of the popped-up message he later changed and claims its only open to UK networks only. Sadly, I don't live in the Uk. The seller didn't put that in the description of the item. had i known i wouldn't have bought it. I have asked him to have it unlocked but he/she insists that i first here what eBay has to say.

This is difficult one.

As you were buying from UK, maybe you should have checked it would work in Zambia. 

Not sure if ebay will allow returns case for not as described.

How did you receive the phone?

If the seller posted it to a UK address and it was then forwarded to you by a third party, you are not covered by the Ebay Money Back Guarantee and will not be eligible to return the item.
