You are selling refurbished items so you need to upgrade to a business account.

The tax situation is complicated.  If you are trading correctly, you can make use of the Trading Allowance - find details of this on the HMRC website.  It is better to get accurate information rather than ask in a public forum because only you know your income and tax details.

You can sell as much as you want to on Ebay although they do impose selling limits on some sellers.

If you are asking if there is an amount you can sell before Ebay ask for your NI Number and report your sales to HMRC, that limit is 30 items or about £1740.

If you reach either of those limits this year, Ebay will report your sales.
