I won an item when I was in the UK, it did not arrive while I was there and the seller was notified off Evri that the parcel was lost. Requesting a refund I was told I'd have to wait. I'm no longer in the Uk and the delivery firm Evri has found the parcel and returned it to the seller. However Evri have marked the parcel as delivered(to me!) and EBay's system has closed my request for a refund. The seller can no longer issue a refund from his end as no provision has been made by EBay this. I have tried to resolve this on eBay's automated system without success, and when it offers to pass me on to an assistant it closes down because it wrongly thinks the item as being delivered. Has anyone got a contact number for a real person in eBay?

If it was within the last 90 days, seller can go to drop down menu and select refund, or cancel sale which will generate a refund.
Alternatively refunds can be made outside ebay using Paypal or Bank Transfer.

i was informed by the seller the the refund butter option was not available to him once the item had been marked as delivered. I don’t know if this is the case! Also, your right he could of issued me a refund outside of EBay, but fortunately EBay did step in and have issued me a refund.
