Item was DELIVERED to collection point, and collected but eBay shows as Dispatched only - funds held

I posted an item which the buyer redirected to their local post office.

The buyer has contacted me to say he HAS collected (although has not left feedback) , but my eBay seller account still shows "Dispatched" , and "Funds pending – awaiting delivery."

However the tracking for the item STILL shows ; "Your item has been delivered to your nominated collection point on 12-02-2025 and it's now ready for you to collect."

So i guess that the post office has not ''released'' the parcel correctly as it still shows pending collection.  

Do I STILL get paid given that the Post Office tracking appears to be the issue here ? After all i have evidence from the tracking that "Your item has been delivered to your nominated collection" , and there are messages to say that it has been collected by the other party.

I don't mind how long it takes to get the funds, but just asking that i am guaranteed to get them , or do i need to initiate some form of request on eBay to resolve this?

At worse, money is released after 14 days.

There should be an estimated release date shown!

Look in PAYMENTS All transactions, the status is shown there with release date.

I think i will wait the 14 days.. I cant find exactly what you are advising (unless i just don't know what i'm looking at) . 

All i can see is the "Funds will typically be available in eBay balance 2 calendar days after delivery." 

That is the issue.. It still isn't  categorised as "DELIVERED" as far as the eBay system is concerned, hence the non-release of funds.

This Ebay policy is somewhat flawed. It should not be my concern that the buyer does not collect what they bought.   Ebay's policy states payment on DELIVERY .  For this, I ave fulfilled my part of the transaction  .

I will hope that the funds just come through regardless after a period of time.  At least i have evidence that the parcel was DELIVERED  (to the post office).  What i don't have is confirmation it was COLLECTED.
