Item sold over a month ago only now said doesn’t work

Hi there need some help I sold an item in may the customer said he hadn’t received it even though the postage said it had been delivered today over a month since it was delivered the customer says that the item does not work not sure what to do in this situation

Buyers only have 30 days from date of delivery to open a return on ebay so it's up to you but after that time they may well have caused the problem themselves.
