Item sold following home collection

I have just sold an item where the buyer came to view and pay.  How do I mark this on my ebay Active list?

Hopefully they first bought the item from your eBay listing   so you'll now find it in Orders >>  Waiting for Postage / Collection and you need to fialise the transaction this way, and only on the Seller Hub here:

If there is nowhere to mark as collected, just mark as Paid and dispatched.

Dispatched is eBay's wording for a collected item.

I couldn't see this so I ended the listing - but I haven't paid ebay - how on earth can I speak with someone at ebay to correct?

If you've simply ended the listing then you haven't sold it via eBay, it would be considered an 'off eBay' deal.

But I got the seller via ebay.  I have relisted it so she can 'buy' it on ebay (which they haven't done yet).  Then this should show on my account?

You must have given out contact details before the buyer bought from the original listing.  That's a policy breach and it was that which resulted in the off ebay sale.

If they won't buy from the relist there is not much you can do now.

I cannot see that you have anything listed or sold, but by ending unsold and relisting at least you have done it the right way. If item actually sold, then all you had to do was mark as paid and dispatched. If sold and then ended without marking as paid, then you will have been charged a selling fee.

It would be very unwise to try to get advice from ebay as you would be telling them you had broken the rules, by giving out contact information BEFORE selling, and getting involved in an off ebay sale.
