Item purchased but have found an issue pre postage

Hi

 

I have sold an item on 'Buy it now' terms but on packaging have noticed some slight defects. I have messaged the customer about this asking if he wanted me to cancel the sale and refund but have heard nothing back after 4 days!. Its now overdue. Do i cancel and refund anyway or risk sending and possible return / refund / part refund?

Yes, I would cancel from the dropdown menu arrow alongside the item on your orders page.   A refund will be issued in the process.
