I want something from the USA – I’m in England. Once it got to England parcel force attempted to deliver it to me but I was out they did not leave a card and they attempt to delivery the next day as well again I was not out as I was not expecting it. That was the 17th and the 18th of December then I realised it had been attempted to be delivered and the update said they would attempt again the next working day but they didn’t and then it was Christmas and I went away and then the next time they tried to deliver it was the 30th of December and that was the only time they left a card and that card said that I had I think it was 12 days to organise a red delivery or collect it and I thought that was fine because I would be back in time to do that, but it turns out that that was incorrect and they shouldn’t have left a card saying that they should’ve crossed it out because the item was actually sent back to the seller. I got in touch with Ebay and Ebay are refusing to honour their money back guarantee because they say as far as they they are concerned attempted delivery is the same as delivery! So now I am out of pocket nearly £300. I’ve spoken to many many people at ebay I’ve had spoken to nice people. I’ve spoken to extremely rude people and then I rang one day and I spoke to a very nice young lady and she promised that she would get a courtesy refund done but it never happened and I rang up about it and the next person I spoke to she said, oh yes, it would be done. It just would take some time but it still hasn’t been done so I rang again. Spoke to a gentleman he said oh it hasn’t been done because you the person who did it sent it to the UK office and they had to send it to the US office well anyway it still hasn’t been done and then I rang again and spoke to someone and she said she would send a message to them but then I got an email back and it was just didn’t make any sense because they weren’t taken into account that the young lady said I’d get the refund as a courtesy refund because I’ve been with them for nearly 30 years and it was wrong what happened? So I don’t know can anyone out there? Please offer any advice or help with this matter because it’s extremely unfair I’m being penalised and I didn’t do anything wrong. I’ve dictated this so they may be typos apologies anyway thank you for reading and please help if you can thank you!
