Item not as promised

I bought an exhaust from a seller. They asked my reg, make and model of car and stated the exhaust was made to fit the exact car specifics. The exhaust came (late) and after having it fotttd o realised it is too short and since has melted my bumper. I have tried to contact the seller with no joy and I can't get any help from eBay. Please advise.

What exactly do you expect ebay to do.? It is up to you to open a NOT AS DESCRIBED RETURN CASE. If seller wants it back they have to supply a return label and refund on return, or they can just refund.
